Up to $3 million in Grants for Social Marketing Available
If you’re active in Chesapeake Bay country, heads up! The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation is offering “small watershed” grants between $20,000 and $200,000 for for “building citizen-based resource stewardship.” (If you ask me, that sounds like code for social marketing). NFWF says they will award approximately $3 million in grants through this solicitation, so that means that more than one of you can get in on this sweet deal!

The group focuses on the improvement of Lake Champlain’s water quality and the restoration of its fisheries, and is seeking an Assistant Marketing Director with web and traditional design experience to advance it’s mission. The position supports the organization’s development objectives, events marketing, education initiatives, and outreach objectives, and reports directly to the Executive Director.
The Assistant Marketing Director will maintain our Drupal-based website, and create and manage direct mail appeals, a membership program, e-newsletter, press releases, social media, print advertising, video projects, and other creative with a focus on revenue generation. Working closely with the Executive Director, the right candidate will become an integral part of the leadership team, positioning the organization for another 30 years of successes.
