		<description>Good points, and I agree. Just a couple of comments:
    First, I&#039;m never as shocked as I&#039;m supposed to be by hearing that people can&#039;t find places on maps, probably because I&#039;m not so sure I could find Mississippi on an unlabeled map (even though I consider myself reasonably well informed -- and I even had one of those puzzle-maps of US states as a kid!). 
    Re: shoptalk -- Knowledge is power, so I would suggest that teaching people some of the insider lingo has a place, although an interpretive sign probably isn&#039;t it. It depends on who your audience is and how likely it is that knowing the jargon will be useful to them.</description>
